Please support our 2025 Big Give Challenge - Kit for the Crew!

Why? To work safely, crews need enough comfortable uniforms for daily changes, but our stocks fall short. Help ensure they’re equipped to deliver critical medical care by land and air for every patient.

The Big Give Challenge is a yearly fundraising campaign, in which we offer supporters the opportunity to double their donations.

It’s a simple idea. When the you donate through a Big Give campaign, we ask funders (philanthropists, foundations or corporates) to match that donation. So if you donate £50, it becomes £100 for our lifesaving service.

"Our crew works tirelessly in challenging and unpredictable environments to save lives. Providing them with high-quality, functional uniforms isn't just about appearance, it's about safety, comfort, and performance. By supporting this campaign, you're directly helping our team stay equipped and ready to respond at a moment’s notice. Every donation makes a real difference. Thank you"

- Dr. Maria Smith, Medical Director

Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance delivers critical care at emergencies across Wiltshire, Bath and surrounding areas, reaching anywhere in the region within 11 minutes. In 2024, we responded to 1,343 emergencies, with a record-breaking number of missions having a doctor on board. This demand highlights the need for rapid, specialist emergency care across our community. To effectively meet demand, replacement uniforms are required for our operational crew.

Solution

Our current uniforms are up to seven years old and very worn. They are designed to fit men despite 24% of our crew being female. Gender specific, well-fitting replacements are essential to ensure that crews are comfortable and able to deliver their stressful roles. The uniform purchased will be for our pilots, doctors and paramedics, meeting the needs of both clinical and aviation requirements.

What happens now?

This year's campaign runs from 2-9 December (midday), and we need to raise £18,650 to unlock the match funding.

If you would like to donate to us this Christmas, the Big Give campaign is a perfect opportunity to maximise the donation.

1. We secure match funding

We ask our corporate supporters and the Wiltshire Match Fund to provide £18,650 of match funds. Our match funder is: Wiltshire Match Fund.

2. You make your donation

You can make your donation between 2 and 9 December (midday). Keep an eye on our social media for regular updates and to be alerted when we hit our target.

3. Your donation will be doubled

The donation you have made will be automatically doubled. This means you can make twice the impact on our lifesaving service, with no extra cost to you.
