Special host announced for Unique Concert
Friday, 19 January 2024
The event, on Thursday 8 February, will see award-winning concert pianist Rupert Egerton-Smith as special guest artist, in performance with The Band of The Grenadier Guards and The Band and Bugles of The Rifles.
Proceeds from the night will raise vital funds for The Wiltshire Bobby Van Trust, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Youth Action Wiltshire, along with the military charities, all of whom are honoured to share a close association with Her Majesty The Queen.
Mr Martin, who lives in Beanacre, is regularly seen on our television screens, hosting BBC’s antiques programme Flog It!, as well as Trust Me, I’m A Dealer and Handmade Revolution.
“As a Wiltshire resident, I'm absolutely honoured to be able to host this very special occasion which is raising vital funds for key charities in our community”
Paul Martin
“It is set to be a fantastic event in an historic venue and I’m very much looking forward to having the honour of hosting the night.”
Mr Martin is head of valuations at Henry Aldridge Auction Rooms in Devizes and has also been an ambassador for Wiltshire Air Ambulance since 2017.
A limited number of tickets remain on sale for the night, with prices starting from £15.
Tickets can also be purchased by calling the Salisbury Cathedral box office on 01722 656555.
